On a practical level (capacity) I prefer the P365; on every other level (aesthetics, all-metal, grips, overall quality feel) I prefer the P938. With the cost of 9mm these days, I would buy a P365 chambered in 22LR for some cost effective, realistic training. The gun would need to weigh the same as a 9mm P365 and have the same trigger pull. I'm not sure if a 22LR would have enough recoil to cycle the slide.Wipe down the interior of the tube and assemble dry. Let them sit loaded, even partially, for a few days. Shoot them a few times. The design of the P365 magazine is such that the spring rate on them is so high sometimes it takes a bit of work cycling for the components to wear in slightly for full capacity to be reached.The P365 magazines, when new, are known to be difficult to fully load. In time they will break-in and get easier to load. I typically will only load 10 rounds in 12 round magazine for the first few range sessions. Before you know it inserting round 11, then 12 will not be an issue. You might also consider a mag loading device like the Maglula ...On P365 380, the grip module is a huge expanse of dark grey monotone, clashing its sensory deprivation vibe with the ornate top. So I think a Sig .45 just enough larger than the P365 to accommodate the larger round would be pretty good. Sig seems to like 1911 pattern for .45 though. Someone mentioned recoil with a 230 grain Gold Dot in the Kahr P45.BTW - it's reported the P365 have had a tendency to increase it's trigger pull over the last 4 years of manufacture. Initial reports were of pulls as low as 5 and fractions of a pound, now it's over 6+. I carry strong side IWB and the P365 with the flat base magazine is much easier to conceal than the P365 XL because of the height differential. The P365 is also more convenient to carry because the shorter slide and the 10 versus 12 round magazine make the gun lighter.The P365 seemed like it was a good gun until I field stripped it and could not get the slide back on. I tried all the suggestions from Sig and the internet. The safety was down, I reset the recoil spring etc., but the slide would get stuck with about 1/2 " to go. I did not want to use a hammer so it went back to Sig. The P365 also has a more conventional striker / firing pin safety than the one in the 320. The trigger bar of the 320 moves in the OPPOSITE direction of most other striker guns.BTW - it's reported the P365 have had a tendency to increase it's trigger pull over the last 4 years of manufacture. Initial reports were of pulls as low as 5 and fractions of a pound, now it's over 6+.
